What is Hollywood Remembers?

Hollywood Remembers is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation dedicated to raising awareness regarding the on‐going HIV/AIDS pandemic. This all‐volunteer grass roots organization sponsors a multi‐cultural, multi‐arts event each year marking World AIDS Day and remembering those who have died from HIV/AIDS as well as those living with the disease.

When is the event?

The event will be on World AIDS Day, Wednesday, December 1, 2010, 7:00 PM at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre, 4800 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA. The program for this year’s event is Cabaret! written and composed by Jill Gabrielle. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to Bienestar – a non‐profit organization serving the Hispanic community impacted by HIV/AIDS.

How is it supported and promoted?

The event is supported through donations and grants. The event will be promoted throughout the LA Metro area utilizing Press Releases to major news outlets, Public Relations, multi‐media Press Kits and mass email campaigns. Previous events were covered by television News Channels 11 and 13. This is a unique opportunity to reach an audience with compassion and understanding.
